Hallglen fraudster claimed £5000 of benefits she was not entitled to

A woman failed to inform the DWP she was living with someone when she fraudulently claimed £5000 of benefits.

Regan Lindsay (38) appeared at Falkirk Sheriff Court last Thursday, having admitted the fraud she committed at her 16 Annan Court, Hallglen home between September 16, 2016 and June 16, 2017.

The court heard the man living with Lindsay when she was claiming the working and child tax credits she was not entitled to has a history of living with different women at different addresses.

Lindsay, who has no previous convictions, was placed on a community payback order with the condition she complete 150 hours unpaid within six months.
