Grangemouth thug spat on police officer

Alexander McGinley (34) appeared at Falkirk Sheriff Court last Thursday having pleaded guilty to assaulting a police officer – spitting on him – at his 25 South Marshall Sreet, Grangemouth home on September 27, 2019.

Sheriff Craig Harris noted the attack on the police officer, which involved him being spat on, happened a few months before the COVID-19 pandemic began – but he said it was still a serious assault.
