Grangemouth sneak's theft of Jack D captured on CCTV

A woman thought she had got away clean after pinching three bottles of whisky and a bottle of vodka and leaving the store, but her actions were caught on camera.

Ashley Graham (30) appeared at Falkirk Sheriff Court on Thursday after admitting the theft she committed in Asda, Newmarket Centre, Falkirk, on April 19 last year.

"She then placed three bottles of Jack Daniels whisky and a bottle of Grey Goose vodka in her bag.”

The court heard the value of the goods stolen was £65 and there was no recovery of any of the items.

Sheriff Derek Livingston fined Graham, 40 Haig Street, Grangemouth, £260 and ordered her to pay Asda £65 compensation for the goods she stole.
