Grangemouth man sent partner flowers - despite order not to contact her

After being convicted of assaulting his partner, a 43-year-old man was told not to communicate with her ahead of being sentenced.

But Scott Malloy ignored that order six months later by sending flowers to her home.

At Falkirk Sheriff Court last Thursday he was fined £200 for breaching bail and placed on an 18 month non-harrassment order.

Malloy, 38 Chisholm Place, Grangemouth, will also be supervised by social workers for 18 months and complete 150 hours unpaid work for attacking the woman at a house in Haig Street, Grangemouth, on December 2.

Sheriff Derek Livingston said sending flowers was “completely inappropriate”.
