Grangemouth man picked up knife after ex told him she wanted to leave
A relationship came to a menacing end when a man held up a knife in front of his former partner after learning she wished to call it a day.
Stephen Geraghty (54), 26 Croftside Court, Grangemouth, pled guilty to behaving threateningly by shouting, swearing, brandishing a knife, repeatedly pushing a woman and kicking a close door at a home in Grangemouth on January 17. Geraghty also told the woman he wanted to “smash your face in”.
Defence solicitor Stephen Biggam said his client regretted his actions.
Geraghty was placed under supervision for six months.
