Grangemouth man made offensive remarks to partner

A Grangemouth man will soon discover his punishment after he shouted offensive remarks at his partner.

John Davidson (50), of 76 Grangeburn Road, appeared at Falkirk Sheriff Court last week.

He had previously pleaded guilty to behaving threateningly by repeatedly shouting, swearing and shouting offensive comments towards the woman at a property in Bainsford.

Sheriff Derek Hamilton noted a report recommendation for Davidson to be assessed for The Caledonian System domestic abuse programme.

Sentence was deferred until February 18 for the assessment to be carried out.
