Grangemouth man breached bail condition by contacting underage girls
A Grangemouth man has been ordered to reappear in court after he breached a bail condition banning him from contacting minors.
Stephen Craig, 23, 18 Bankhill Court, Grangemouth, was granted bail on March 12, 2018 and made subject to a condition not to have any contact with any child under the age of 16 unless they are supervised by an adult over the age of 21.
However, he pleaded guilty to breaching that condition by contacting underage girls on various occasions between February 22 and February 28, 2019.
Last Thursday, Sheriff Derek Livingston said sentence had previously been deferred for a review of an order imposed by Falkirk Sheriff Court.
Craig’s defence solicitor said: “He appeared at the High Court.
“The High Court is pleased with the progress he has made and the order is being allowed to continue.”
Sheriff Livingston deferred sentence until April 1 for a restriction of liberty order assessment.
