Grangemouth incident: Five arrested after two men allegedly stabbed at block of flats

Two men, aged 34 and 29, were taken to hospital after an attack at a property in Islay Court, Grangemouth at about 1.20am on Monday, 1 March.

The 34-year-old man is being treated for serious, but not life-threatening injuries at Forth Valley Royal Hospital. The 29-year-old man is also being treated in hospital for his injuries.

Five men have since been arrested in connection with the attack.

A police spokesman said: "Around 1.20am on Monday, 1 March, 2021, officers were called to a report of a disturbance at a property on Islay Court, Grangemouth. A 34-year-old man was taken to Forth Valley Royal Hospital with serious, but not life-threatening, injuries. A 29-year-old man was also taken to hospital for treatment.

"Three men, aged 38, 33 and 29, and two men, aged 30 and 27, were arrested in connection with the incident. Enquiries are ongoing."
