Grangemouth bail breaker no show at court

A defence solicitor said he had no idea why his bail breaching client had not turned up at Falkirk Sheriff Court last Thursday.

James Docherty (30) had previously admitted breaching his bail conditions not to contact a particular woman at an address in Telford Square, Camelon on December 1, 2019.

Gordon Addison, defending, said: “I cannot explain his non-appearance.”

Sheriff Christopher Shead took pity on Docherty, 13c Kingseat Avenue, Grangemouth, and decided to continue the case until March 11 for further review.
