Forth Valley police issue bird nest warning
Police are reminding people bird’s nests are protected by law and it is actually an offence to damage or disturb it.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “During the summer months, people tend to carry out maintenance on their homes and gardens not realising that nests, even those not fully formed, may be damaged whilst doing so. It is illegal to intentionally or recklessly do so.
“Preventative measures should be taken during winter or non-breeding season to stop future nest building.”
