Falkirk shoplifter ordered to pay store back for booze he pinched

Allan Dearie (40) appeared at Falkirk Sheriff Court last Thursday having admitted the theft he committed – stealing three bottles of alcohol worth a total value of £70 – from Tesco, Falkirk Central Retail Park on May 8.

The court heard there was no recovery of the goods Dearie stole.

Sheriff Derek Livingston placed Dearie, 22 Kerse Gardens, Falkirk, on a supervised community payback order for two years with the condition he pay Tesco back £70 at a rate of £10 per month.
