Falkirk sheriff not impressed with offender's 'vomiting bug' excuse
Keiran Nicol (21) failed to appear at Falkirk Sheriff Court last Thursday, having pleaded guilty to threatening behaviour – uttering offensive remarks – and damaging property – smashing a mobile phone – at an address in Moriston Court, Grangemouth on Jun 25 last year.

The court heard Nicol, 39 Carrick Place, Tamfourhill, was not present because he claimed he was “suffering from a vomiting bug”.
Sheriff Derek Livingston said: “Is that why he hasn’t attended for reports either?”
He issued a warrant for Nicol’s arrest.
