A first offender who pestered his ex partner with threatening and abusive text messages now has the police on his trail after he failed to attend court.

Sheriff Derek Livingston issued an arrest warrant for Connor McGowan (26) when he did not turn up at Falkirk Sheriff Court on Thursday.
McGowan, 1 Mansion Court, Cambuslang, had admitted engaging in a course of conduct which caused his ex partner fear and alarm in Wallace Street, Falkirk, between October 10 and October 12 last year.
