A teenager who threatened to stab her partner on Christmas Day told her solicitor she could not make it to court due to contracting the coronavirus.

Olivia Sinclair (19) had already admitted behaving in a threatening manner at her 22 Sinclair Place, Falkirk home on December 25 last year, telling her partner she would stab him and then actually striking a door with the weapon.

Sheriff Derek Livingston noted a previous missed appointment by Sinclair, but gave her the benefit of the doubt, deferring sentence until March 18.
