Falkirk district police supporting child sexual exploitation awareness campaign
Police in Falkirk district are among the bodies supporting a Scottish Government campaign aimed at raising awareness of child sexual exploitation.
The CSE The Signs initiative also seeks to improve public understanding of the issue and empower action.
With our online activity having increased during lockdown, the campaign will explain what we should look out for and how to stay safe.
CSE The Signs will give members of the public advice and support available if they or a loved one is affected, while also ensuring no-one feels alone.
A spokesperson said: “We are all spending more time online for learning, working and socialising.
“This means that we are all at increased risk of harms that can occur online. More information is available on how to keep yourself and your child safe in the digital environment.”
Falkirk Police tweeted: “Sexual exploitation is happening to boys and girls in Scotland – help us make it stop!”
