Falkirk court hears how offender attacked and 'detained' man

Mark Little (41) appeared from custody at Falkirk Sheriff Court last Thursday having pleaded guilty to assaulting a man in Stirling Road, Dunblane on June 8, 2019.

The charges stated Little seized the man, pulled him to the ground, headbutted him, then pulled him towards a “wooded area” and “detained him against his will”.

The court heard Little, Deanstone House, Doune, was currently subject to a compulsory treatment order which was due to expire in November.

Sheriff Christopher Shead deferred sentence to September 8 for a psychiatric report.
