Kenny owed him the cash and when he failed to pay up his mate splashed the news on Facebook.
Falkirk Sheriff Court heard last Thursday that led to Kenny going to McMeechans’ home in Grangemouth last July and assaulting him. During the attack he smashed his victim’s false teeth.
Kenny (34), 13 Bridgend Road, Avonbridge, had admitted the charge at an earlier court and was appearing for sentence.
He claimed: “When I was working I was very kind to him. The social media stuff was very embarrassing and I was angry.”
