Excrement put through Airth takeaway letterbox and fire set to bin

A takeaway has been targeted by vandals who have put excrement through its letterbox and set a fire at the premises.

Police are now investigating a series of incidents at New Eastern Spice in Airth.

As well as excrement having been left at the property, a bin has been torched and a gas main damaged and put out of use.

A Police Scotland spokeswoman said: “Police have received reports of damage being caused to a premises in Main Street, Airth on April 2 , April 4 and April 13.

“Officers have attended and obtained details from the owner of the property.

“An investigation has commenced in relation to all three incidents, which officers believe may be linked.

“Enquiries are ongoing.”
