Drunk who attacked police is tagged

Dillon Martin lost his temper with police who arrived at his mother's house late at night to investigate reports of a disturbance.

They were leaving the property in Watling Street, Camelon, on February 11 after Martin’s mum reassured them everything was okay – but when he came out shouting and swearing and punched one of the officers he was arrested for assault.

At Falkirk Sheriff Court last Thursday the 28-year-old from 32 Cumbrae Drive, Tamfourhill, was placed on a two-year supervised community order to include a ‘tag’ that will not allow him to leave home between 7pm and 7am for the next four months.

Lawyer Dick Sandeman said: “Once he sobered up he said he was sorry.”
