Drug treatment order for Denny woman

A woman with “long standing heroin abuse problems” has been placed on a drug treatment and testing order.

Donna Gray (31), 24 Bridge Crescent, Denny appeared at Falkirk Sheriff Court last Thursday.

She had previously admitted stealing groceries and alcohol from Iceland and the Co-op in Denny, and Morrisons Falkirk in December 2019 and January this year.

She had also admitted using someone else’s bank card in an ATM and stealing money on June 1, 2017.

Gray had been on a community payback order in relation to the matters.

This was revoked by Sheriff Mundy last week and she was placed on a DTTO for 18 months.

Her defence solicitor said her behaviour and cooperation with those assisting her “has improved substantially in the last few months”.
