A woman who pinched alcohol from her local post office and ignored a court order to stay away from a particular street was said to have possibly “turned a corner” in her life.

From looking at reports, Sheriff Richard MacFarlane stated in Falkirk Sheriff Court on Thursday it looked like Donna Gray (32) “may have turned a corner” when it came to changing her offending ways.

She had already pleaded guilty to theft, stealing a quantity of alcohol from Denny Post Office, Duke Street, Denny on August 5 last year and breaching her bail conditions not to enter Brewster Place, Denny when she was caught in the street on January 20 this year.

Sheriff MacFarlane allowed Gray, 24 Bridge Crescent Denny, to continue engaging with the court orders she received as punishment for her crimes and called for an update report on her progress in six weeks time on May 13.
