Denny man left pensioner with broken arm after being racially abused

James King (35), 12 Anderson Park Road, Denny, pled guilty to assaulting the 86-year-old man in Wellside Court, Falkirk on October 30, 2019.
King was approached by his victim who told him he was illegally parked. The victim made an alleged racist remark the court heard before King pushed him to the chest and drove off as the man lay with a fractured humerus bone.

Hide AdDefence solicitor Lynn Swann said King accepted he made a mistake but had been “annoyed” by the comment.
He was placed under a five-month, 9pm-6am restriction of liberty order and must complete 250 hours’ unpaid work within a year.
