Cruel theft from playpark

Eagle-eyed villagers are being asked for help to trace the culprits who pinched a swing from a children's public playpark.

The theft occurred from Blinkbonnie Park in Slamannan between February 29 and March 29.

Council staff notified police after routine chekcs discovered the theft.

The swing is about five feet in diameter, round and with blue woven rope attached to a black coloured swing seat in the centre.

Constable Derek Wallace from the Braes community police team appealed for information.

He said: “The size and shape of this item indicates that more than one person may have been involved. A vehicle could also have been used to remove the swing.

“I ask that anyone with information relating to this theft contact me on 101 or via our online contact details, 
quoting ref CF0052000316. Alternatively, Crimestoppers can be contacted
