Crime falls in the Forth Valley

Crime has fallen significantly in Forth Valley according to the latest figures released by Police Scotland.

Reported crime in the area between April and December last year fell by 9.1 per cent compared with the same period in 2015.

This means there were 848 fewer victims of crime in the local area in 2016. While crime has decreased, detection rates have increased by 2.3 percent to 57.2 per cent.
