Cocky teen told Camelon garage staff he was going to steal booze

A cocky beggar from Biggar pinched alcohol from a garage shop after bragging to staff he was going to do just that.

Mark Marshall (19) appeared at Falkirk Sheriff Court on Thursday having pleaded guilty to theft and threatening behaviour at the Shell garage, Glasgow Road, Camelon on January 8 last year.

Sheriff Derek Livingston deferred sentence on Marshall, Glenochar Farm, Elvanfoot, Biggar, to March 18 for a restriction of liberty order assessment and to await the outcome of a sheriff and jury trial in Airdrie Sheriff Court..
