David Kelso (41) found this out to his cost when he was talking to police officers who had reason to stop and search him. The officers found nothing on Kelso, but, unfortunately for him, he then proceeded to lose the plot when a passing motorist shouted at police they should arrest Kelso.
Kelso, 4 Gordon Place, Camelon, flew into a rage and started shouting and swearing for the “hard man” motorist to come back, grabbing his crotch and threatening to “slash” him.

Hide AdAppearing at Falkirk Sheriff Court last Thursday, Kelso admitted behaving in a threatening manner on the footbridge near Lock 16, Canal Street, Camelon on August 18.
Eilidh Smith, procurator fiscal depute, said: “It was 7.55pm and police on mobile patrol saw the accused and another person about to meet each other on a foot bridge. Officers approached the two males to speak with them.
“At that stage the accused was detained and a search was carried out with a negative result. Then a vehicle drove past and a male voice shouted from the vehicle shouted ‘get them jailed’ in a jovial manner.
“The accused shouted ‘get back here hard man – I’ll slash you’. He was told to calm down but continued shouting and swearing in the street, gesticulating with his hands holding his crotch while swearing.”
Sheriff Derek Hamilton placed Kelso on a drug treatment and testing order for two years.
