Boy (15) charged over Grangemouth primary school gas supply vandalism

A teenage boy has been charged in connection with a vandalism that forced a Grangemouth school to shut for a day.

The gas supply at Beancross Primary was damaged on Friday, November 6.

A 15-year-old has now been charged in relation to the incident.

The Kenilworth Street school had to close to staff and pupils the following Monday so repairs could be carried out.

Grangemouth Community Policing Team tweeted: “We would like to thank members of the public that helped with our enquiries.”
