Bonnybridge offender tried to enter woman's home

Craig Stirling (47) failed to appear at Falkirk Sheriff Court last Thursday, but had pleaded guilty to a breach of the peace.

He was found in the curtilage of a property, attempting to gain entry to the premises – to the fear and alarm of the female resident – in Hogan Place, Dennyloanhead on February 27 last year.

The court heard Stirling, 11 Wellpark Terrace, Bonnybridge was not present at court due to a medical appointment.

Sheriff Craig Harris deferred sentence until May 26.
