Mark Downie (32) admitted assaulting a woman – holding her neck – at an address in Inchyra Place, Grangemouth on October 4 last year.

Appearing at Falkirk Sheriff Court on Thursday, Downie, 44 Redbrae Avenue, had his original court orders revoked by Sheriff Derek Hamilton due to several breaches of the order, which Downie subsequently admitted.
Sheriff Hamilton then adjourned the case to November 19 for the purposes of receiving an up to date criminal justice social work report on Downie.
