Bikes worth close to £5000 stolen from Hallglen property

Two bicycles with a combined value of almost £5000 were stolen from a Hallglen property.

A black and orange Canyon Strive bike worth approximately £4500 and a black and green Scott Aspect valued at around £375 were taken from a locked shed.

Police say the crime was committed at some point between 9.30pm on Monday, August 24 and 4pm on Wednesday, August 26.

The Canyon Strive has a black frame with orange brake calipers, a grey braided hose covering the brake cables, a black and blue saddle and Death Grip handlebar grips.

The frame of the wheels has white writing which spells out ‘HOPE’ and there are orange hubs on the wheels.

The Scot Aspect has an extra small black frame featuring luminous yellow/green writing.

The bike’s handlebars, saddle and tyres are black. Each wheel also has two orange spokes.
