Bainsford offender kicked and injured nursing assistant

Gillian Friel lashed out at a nursing assistant who was trying to help her and kicked her on the body to her injury.

Friel (24) appeared at Falkirk Sheriff Court last Thursday having pleaded guilty to the assault she committed at Forth Valley Royal Hospital on March 16, last year.

The court heard Friel, 3 River Street, Carron, was going on trial for another assault matter later in the year.

Sheriff Derek Livingston deferred sentence until July 2 for her good behaviour and the outcome of other matters.
