A 37-year-old man had an air rifle without a certificate and caught with Class A heroin in his possession.

At Falkirk Sheriff Court last Thursday David Nowyk was placed on a supervised community payback order for two years.

The rifle was recovered from his home on February 23, and the drugs at Forth Valley Royal Hospital on May 29, both last year.
