Officers were called to Central Scotland Car Sales in Newhouse Road on Tuesday after the incident, believed to have taken place overnight.

Enquiries are continuing and anyone with any information should call 101.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 7.35am on Tuesday, 15 September, officers were called to Newhouse Business Park following a report of an attempted break-in to a business, which is believed to have taken place overnight. Enquiries into the incident are ongoing.”
