Appearing at Falkirk Sheriff Court on Thursday, Simon Copeland (35), 84 Torwood Avenue, Grangemouth, admitted breaching his bail conditions to have no contact with the woman on April 2 and May 9.

Defence solicitor Simon Hutchison said: “They were bad for each other because they both had drinking problems. They are separated now and all the better for it.”

Sheriff Christopher Shead ordered Copeland to do 50 hours unpaid work within 12 months.
