A 59-year-old has been attacked and robbed outside a shop in Grangemouth
A shopper was the victim of a terrifying theft in the middle of a street during the early evening.

The incident happened near the Spar store in Newhouse Road, Grangemouth just before 7pm yesterday and involved a 59-year-old man reportedly being robbed of his wallet by a much younger man.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 6.40pm on Tuesday, May 19, officers received a report of theft from a 59-year-old man in Newhouse Road, Grangemouth.
“The items were recovered and a 26-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection. He is expected to appear at Falkirk Sheriff Court today.”
