CCTV image of man released after woman assaulted at Falkirk train station

Transport police have released a CCTV image of a man they want to trace in relation to an assault on a woman at Falkirk High train station.

The assault on the 45-year-old female from Falkirk took place on Friday, December 18 at the station at around 11.50 pm.

British Transport Police (BTP) want to track down a man seen on CCTV at the station at around the time of the attack and say he may be able assist them with their enquiries.

He is described as being in his late fifties, around 5ft 8in, a large or heavy build with short receding grey hair.

He was wearing a black or dark brown leather jacket, a white shirt, dark coloured trousers and grey and white shoes.

Constable Fiona MacAulay, who is leading the enquiry, said: “I am appealing to anyone who recognises the man shown in the photograph to contact me as a matter of urgency.”
