Ochiltree Social Club is having a children’s Christmas party on Sunday, December 7 from 3-6 p.m. No tickets, £5 payable at the door per child. Please bring small present with your child’s name to get from Santa Claus. Included is food, party games, prizes and raffles. All proceeds to Yorkhill Children’s Hospital. There will be a Christmas Fair at Ochiltree Social Club on on Sunday, December 7, in aid of Yorkhill Children’s Hospital. Doors open from 1-4 p.m. There are a mixture of tables with dvd’s, toys, skin care products, The Tablet Company, Carol Sweetietrees, Little Gem Treasure, Ellie Louise’s bows, central cakes, Jackies Gem (glitter glasses), a sweetie buffet, a mixed Christmas table and lots more.
Koffee Time meets from 10 am till noon today (Thursday). As we look forward to the colours of autumn we also look forward to a warm cuppa with friends old and new. The Thought for the Day this week is in the hands of Jim McNinch. On Saturday at 7 p.m. we have our first Musical Evening with Tom Stables and party. Light refreshments will be served at the beginning of the evening. There is an open invitation to join us on that occasion. The expected speaker at the Bible Teaching Hour on Sunday at 11.50 a.m. is David Brown, a good friend from Dunfermline. While the Carmuirs club is off for the week of the October Holiday we meet for the Prayer and Bible Study in Bethany at 7.30 p.m. on Tuesday evening and the study will be led by Alex Mackay.
