Metafit Class

A class is held every Wednesday at Brown Street church hall at 8.15 p.m. For more information call 07739718361.

Camera Club

This takes place every Friday from 7-9 p.m. in Camelon Community Centre’s Scotia Room. All welcome.

Keep Fit

An aerobics and toning class is held in the Mariner Centre every Wednesday from 7.30 p.m. Cal Sheila on (01324) 634192 or 07859933877 for further information.

Mariner Bar

Entertainment on Saturday is by Fraser’s Disco. There are domino and pool competitions every Sunday from 3.30 p.m. Entry fee is £1 per person.

Car Boot

Every Sunday from 8 a.m. until 1 p.m. there is a car boot sale at Falkirk Stadium. Pitches are £6 each. Proceeds to benefit Falkirk FC. For further information call Jim Campbell on (01324) 873498.

Juniors Club

There are bingo sessions every Tuesday, Friday and Saturday from 7.30 p.m. Thre are refreshments at the Tuesday session for a small donation. Entertainment tomorrow (Friday) is provided by vocalist Robert Watson.

Treasure Chest

The weekly Camelon Juniors draw was won by James Clarking who won the consolation prize of £50 with the ticket purchased at Tesco Camelon. Next week’s jackpot will be £600.

Ochiltree Club

Entertainment on Saturday is provided by Enuff Said.

ILA Cafe

Thanks to everyone who came along tot he April Independent Livivg cafe in Forth Valley Sensory Centre. It is open to anyone with an assessed need from social work and anyone with an interest in disability. Spirit Within

Forum AGM

The AGM of the Adult ICT Forum will take place in Camelon Community Centre, Abercrombie Street, on Tuesday, May 27 at 1 p.m. All interested parties would be made most welcome.

Bowling Club

Elizabeth Shand picks up £180 for winning the 21 club. Kirsty Craig had the lowest score and pockets £20. New players always required for the 21 club – please remember this club was formed to support the cost of maintaining the greens. All members and friends are invited to our celebration dance on Saturday, May at 8 p.m. This is in honour of our British Senior fours indoor winner John Phillips. Names are now required for the David Graham Vehicle Repairs five person team on Sunday, May 18.

Parish Church

1st Camelon Boys Brigade is for boys aged between five and 18 and takes place each Thursday evening in the Camelon Parish Church Hall in Brown Street. They take part in various activities which include crafts, games, sports, stories, music, cooking, going on trips, making friends, and working towards their badges. They meet each Thursday at 5.30-6.30 p.m. for Anchor Boys (P1-3), Junior and Company Section from 6.45-8 p.m. (Primary 4+). Come along and join us for our Sunday Morning service at 11 a.m., we look forward to seeing you there! YCP (Young Camelon Parish), a youth group for children aged 10 years old upwards will meet on Sunday at 6.30-8 p.m. in Dorrator Road Halls. Come along and see if it’s for you, new members welcome! The Busy Bees will meet in the Brown Street Church Halls on Tuesday, May 6 and join us. The Wednesday Lunch Club will meet on May 7 at 11.30 a.m. in Dorrator Road Hall. Fruit Barra

Come along every Tuesday from 10 a.m. to noon in Camelon Community Centre and get fresh fruit and veg from your local farmer at reasonable prices. We accept Healthy Start Vouchers and there will be information on healthy eating, free recipe cards and tasting sessions.

Community Cafe

This is open in the Community Centre every Monday to Friday from 10 a.m. till 2 p.m. and on Saturdays during term time. All the public welcome.
