ILA Cafe

Thanks to everyone who came along to the June Independent Living Cafe in the Sensory Centre, Camelon. The ILA Cafe is open to anyone with an assessed need from social work and anyone with an interest in disability. The next ILA Cafe is today (Thursday) in the Forth Valley Sensory Centre, Camelon from 12.30-2 p.m. when we will be having a games afternoon. Come along and try your hand at some board games, have a chat and enjoy a light lunch meeting old friends and making new ones. Due to rising costs we are having to charge £2 per lunch. Metafit Class

This class takes place in Brown Street Church Hall every Wednesday at 8.15 p.m. All welcome. For more information call 07739718361.

Keep Fit

A combined aerobics and toning class takes place in the Mariner Sports Centre every Wednesday from 7.45-9 p.m. Call sheila on (01324) 634192 or 07859933877.

Camera Club

Meets every Friday from 7-9 p.m. in the Scotia Room, Camelon Education Cetnre. All welcome.

Juniors Club

There are bingo sessions every Tuesday, Friday and Saturday from 7.30 p.m. At Tuesday’s session refreshments are available for a small donation. Entertainment tomorrow (Friday) is vocalist Kay Francis.

Mariner Bar

Entertainment on Saturday is by Fraser’s Disco. There are pool and domino tournaments every Sunday from 3.30 p.m. Admission £1.

Treasure Chest

The weekly draw in aid of Camelon Juniors was won by Ann Buchanan who took the £50 consolation prize with the ticket sold at Tesco. This week’s jackpot will be £700.

Tai Chi

Relax, have fun and improve your health and wellbeing. Qigong is a gentle exercise system that improves flexibility balance and feelings of wellbeing, based on the same principles as traditional Chinese medicine. Meet new people in a relaxed atmosphere. Bethany Hall

Koffee Time meets from 10 a.m. till noon today (Thursday). You are very welcome to join us for a cuppa and chat. A Thought for the day will be offered. Some folk are giving ideas for summer holiday reading. Our preacher DV on Sunday at 11.50 a.m. is Ian Mundie who in his childhood lived in a home on our end of Glasgow Road. We always benefit from what he shares of his life-long experience of the goodness of God. On Tuesday evening we meet for prayer at 7.30 p.m.
