* Bethany Hall

You are welcome to join us for Koffee Time in Bethany Hall, Baird Street today (Thursday) from 10am till noon. We are rapidly approaching our outing to Largs later in the month and plan to finalise details of that visit today. One or two people have not confirmed their intentions - you can talk to us on 0758 155 1432. On Sunday DV our meetings will take their normal form and our speaker this Sunday at 11.50am is Gary Blair from Motherwell. He spent some years working for God in Southern France before returning to his home area. On Monday 17th August we meet at 2pm for Koffee Time Extra. On Tuesday we have our church prayer meeting at 7.30pm and the Epilogue will be brought to us by Alex a member of our fellowship.


Do you suffer from anxiety or depression? This is a group of people who meet in a friendly, supportive and confidential environment. Monday mixed group meets 7-9pm. in the Dawson Centre, Davids Loan. Tai Chi Qigong

Credit Union

Savings are safe with Falkirk District Credit Union and low cost loans are available once regular savings established. Anyone who lives or works in the area within the boundary of Falkirk Council can join, junior savers welcome. Juniors Social Club

Bingo sessions every Tuesday, Friday and Saturday starting at around 7.30pm. At Tuesday’s session tea, coffee or juice can be obtained, together with cakes and biscuits, for a small donation. The session on Saturday, August 15 is cancelled. Entertainment on Friday, August 14 is provided by female vocalist Liz Clark. There is a bingo session prior to this which starts around 7.30pm until around 8.30pm. The show starts at 9.15pm.

Mariners Bar

Entertainment on Saturday, August 15 is provided by Fraser’s Karaoke Disco. There are pool and domino tournaments every Sunday commencing at 2.30pm. Admission £1.

Treasure Chest

This week’s Treasure Chest was won by Tony Beattie, who won the jackpot prize of £750. The ticket was sold at The Canal Inn, Camelon. Next week’s jackpot will be £500.

Community Centre

Monday-Kay klass dance 4pm-4.45pm 3-7 year olds and 4.45pm-5.30pm age 8 plus, mtv commercial/hip hop dance. Price £3.50. 7-8pm kickbox cardio fitness class. £4 per class, no need to book. Entertainment on Saturday, August 15 is by the ever popular Mikey. We are having a cabaret on Sunday, August 30 from 2pm till late, featuring 10 individual singers. Entry is free.
