The next cafe is today (Thursday), in the Sensory Centre, Camelon from 12.30 - 2pm. We are always looking to keep you informed and at that cafe we will be having a guest who will talk about epilepsy. Braveheart Plus monthly meeting takes place Monday, August 10 at Camelon Community education Centre, Abercrombie St, Camelon 1.30 - 3.30pm. Arrangements for the speaker are in progress and hope to bring some more fascinating insites into Falkirks diverse local history. Braveheart Plus welcomes all individuals who have had heart problems, their family members and those interested in supporting those affected by Coronary Heart Disease. Koffee Time meets today (Thursday) from 10am- noon. We are pleased to see the numbers of folk who have been joining us on a Thursday and are taking particular pleasure in folk who have recently joined us. We will be happy to find room for you. The speaker expected for our Bible Teaching at 11.50am on Sunday is Bill Black. We meet before that at 10.30am for the Breaking of Bread and at 11.30am for a coffee/tea break. On Tuesday we meet at 7.30pm for our weekly prayer meeting. The epilogue will DV be given this week by Neil. Our resident Gaelic speaker can be depended on to bring his message in a language we can all understand.
Camelon Juniors Social Club has bingo sessions every Tuesday, Friday and Saturday starting at around 7.30pm. At Tuesday’s session tea, coffee or juice can be obtained, together with cakes and biscuits, for a small donation. Entertainment tomorrow (Friday) is provided by male vocalist David Gray. There is a bingo session prior to this which starts around 7.30 -8.30pm. The show starts at 9.15pm.
Entertainment on Saturday, August 8 is provided by Fraser’s Karaoke Disco. There are pool and domino tournaments every Sunday commencing at 2.30pm. Admission £1.
This week’s Treasure Chest was won by J. Walker, who won the consolation prize of £50. The ticket was sold at Tesco, Camelon. Next week’s jackpot will be £750.
