Camelon crash: Road closed after lorry hits bridge

A Camelon road had to be closed after a lorry crashed into a bridge.

The Asda vehicle smashed into the bridge on the A803 Glasgow Road this morning, causing lengthy traffic tailbacks.

The lorry driver is not thought to have been injured in the crash. The road was re-opened at 11.30am.

A 53-year-old man will be the subject of a report to the procurator fiscal in connection with the incident.

A Police Scotland spokeswoman confirmed officers were called to the scene at 9.35am.
