A Falkirk veterinary clinic has joined forces with a Perthshire practice to form a new centre specialising in the care of large animals.

Grahams Road Veterinary Clinic and Doune’s Struthers and Scott Veterinary Practice have teamed up to create Forth Valley Vets Ltd., offering first-class treatment to horses and farm animals.

Their new facility, opening soon in Stirling, will provide state-of-the-art diagnostics and include a new X-ray machine and scanner, endoscope, reproduction services and an in-house laboratory.

Ian Rodger, practice partner said: “Sharing expertise and buying power, Forth Valley Vets has been able to invest in the best specialist equipment and software and to access better deals on medicines and vaccines.

“This means even better value and service for clients.”

David Reed, another partner, said: “We have been serving the farm and equine community for over 60 years and plan to be at the forefront of veterinary provision for the next 60 as well.”

The Grahams Road clinic will continue to treat small animals.
