Falkirk employees of a leading customer experience provider have been having a kick-about to help build a new school in India.

Staff at Webhelp UK’s Central Business Park site took on a team from Sky’s Livingston office in a charity football match recently.

The game has been just one way that Webhelp UK and Sky have been working together in an attempt to raise £50,000 for the construction of the Indian facility.

Webhelp UK CEO David Turner said: “The challenge set by Sky has been very well received by the team at Webhelp, there’s been a lot of buzz around it.

“It’s great to see so many people going the extra mile and undertaking some hard tasks to raise money for such a worthy cause.”

Other good deeds from the staff have included festive fundraisers, while a service manager from Greenock, Mark Stevenson (pictured), cycled 500 miles.

Danielle Macleod at Sky said: “It’ll be a great sense of achievement and make it all worthwhile when we see the delight on the children’s faces.”
