A trio of new senior staff has been unveiled by one of the area’s top hotels.

Just weeks before the new spa at the Macdonald Inchyra is completed, bosses have announced that Paul Bray is the new general manager at the four-star hotel, alongside spa manager Emma Eggleton and leisure club manager Jeni Wishart.

Paul joins from his role as general manager of Scotland’s largest hotel, the Jurys Inn in Glasgow.

During his time there he was key to generating over £9 million of sales.

He has over 16 years’ experience within the hotel industry having worked at the Chester Grosvenor and four star Royal Terraces hotels.

Emma returns to the Macdonald Inchyra where she started her career after picking up a wealth of experience at such renowned Scottish hotels as Cameron House and Turnberry.

Making up the new top team is Jeni Wishart who joins next month from Airth Castle where she was leisure and spa manager.

Paul said: “I am extremely pleased to have taken up my post. It is an exciting time for the hotel with the first stage of the new spa now open and the second stage due for completion in May. With Emma and Jeni’s help, we are looking to build its reputation as one of the premier spa destinations in central Scotland.”

The Macdonald Inchyra Hotel will also undergo a refurbishment of its restaurant, bar and reception which will coincide with the completion of the spa in May.
