A proposal to transform a former Polmont children’s hom into holiday accommodation lodges with glamping pods in the ground has been submitted to Falkirk Council.

Weedingshall was constructed as a family home in the 19th century before being used as a children’s home and later an educational facility. It has been vacant for at least two years.

Developer Mr Hay of Bo’ness bought the property from the council in August.
