A Grangemouth letting firm is dealing with one of its most unusual properties.
David Richardson of The Letting Company is currently marketing the former manse in the village of Culross.
Built in the 1600s, it is next to the 800-year-old abbey and is three storeys high with eight bedrooms.
David said: “Our role was initially to do a detailed property inspection and to provide an investment report and fees ability study on renting out the manse house to the private rental sector.
“We were happy to come to an arrangement with the representatives of the abbey, outlining a suitable way of raising much-needed funds to support the future development of the manse.”
Speaking from the office in York Lane, David said there had already been a lot of interest with seven viewing requests on the first day and many more since.
A Church of Scotland spokesman said: “This manse is going to be let out short term. We encourage vacant charges to let out there manses until a Minster is called to that parish.”
