Providing cheer in a coffee cup has helped the staff at Costa lift a top award.
The Falkirk branch of the coffee shops chain received the accolade for its high standard of customer service.
Manager Andrew McNeil and his 14 members of staff consistently received over 80 per cent positive feedback from the customers who use the Vicar Street premises.
Andrew said: “It’s absolutely brilliant to receive the award, particularly when you know that over 2000 others were in the running.
“People often only give feedback when they want to complain, so it is great that so many took the time to get involved and we want to thank them.”
Costa Falkirk is part of the Coffeepots Ltd franchise which operates five stores across Central Scotland.
Staff members also held a fundraising day last Saturday when they raised over £600 for the Costa Foundation.
Set up in 2006 with the aim of improving the lives of coffee growers and their families around the world, to date it has worked on over 42 school projects in eight countries across three continents.
