A former Larbert High School pupil has been appointed as a director of a Scottish independent accountancy firm.
Stenhousemuir’s David Archibald will lead Henderson Loggie’s internal audit team.
David is returning to the firm where he previously worked for almost 10 years with external audit, internal audit and consultancy clients across the full spectrum of public sector bodies in Scotland.
He takes up his new post after five years in the NHS where he held senior roles in internal audit and programme management.
David said: “I’m delighted to return to Henderson Loggie. I’m looking forward to working with existing clients to meet the significant challenges which lie ahead.”
During his time at Larbert High, David represented the school in athletics, rugby and canoeing. He is also a former champion of Central Athletic Club and a Scottish schools orienteering winner, as well as having played for Grangemouth Rugby Club.
