With less than four weeks to the deadline for this year’s Falkirk Herald Business Awards now is the time to get your entry in.

The annual event has quickly established itself as an important date for companies across the district.

If you want to ensure that you are in the running for the accolade visit our website for further details or give us a call for an entry form.

This year’s event has a new main sponsor and venue for the awards ceremony. The Aurora Hotel Collection is sponsoring the prestigious competition, which recognises the companies and individuals making their mark on the Falkirk district economy.

There are 11 categories to enter with another two awards being announced on the night: Outstanding Achievement of the Year and Business Personality of the Year.

One of the hotly contested categories in 2014 was Best Business in the Community. Eventual winners were Asda Logistics Services beating Cloybank Estate and the Macdonald Inchyra Hotel.

The judges noted: “This was a keenly contested category but our judges felt the winner ticked all the boxes when it came to engaging with the community and reacting to its needs.”

The hunt is now underway to identify the top businesses for 2015.

Entry is now open to any business operating in the Falkirk Council area, whether they have been open a matter of months or are an established part of the local community, a sole trader or a large multi-national.

Entrants can put themselves forward for more than one category, but please note separate entry forms require to be submitted for each one.

The glittering ceremony where all the winners will be revealed takes place on Thursday, November 19, at the award winning Airth Castle Hotel.
